H.C.E.T. Technologies ("HCET") Announces Successful Development of 100TB SSD Drive Prototype
[Markham, Ontario], [March 16, 2023] – HCET, a leading provider of cutting-edge storage solutions, is proud to announce the successful development of a 100TB solid-state drive (SSD) prototype. This achievement represents a major milestone in the storage industry, as it is one of the highest-capacity SSDs ever created.
The 100TB SSD drive prototype is based on our proprietary compression algorithm , which provides unparalleled performance, endurance, and reliability. It features a the latest 64-layer, 3D TLC (3-bit-per-cell) flash memory BiCS FLASH™. This new line of NVMe™ based SSDs deliver high performance up to 3000 MB/s of sequential read and 2100MB/s of sequential write with a maximum interface bandwidth of 32 GT/s.
The SSD also feature an SLC cache to accelerate burst type workloads, as well as improved power consumption comparing to prior generations, making this SSD an efficient option for high performance mobile computing. The SSD is available in increments of 100TB capacities in a compact single sided M.2 2280 form factor. The self-encrypting drive (SED) models supporting TCG Opal Version 2.01 are also offered, making it highly suited to address data security needs for commercial PCs or other business applications.
